Detox Bath FAQ

What you can expect from Ion-Cleanse sessions?

Healthy individuals can expect to feel lighter and experience a greater feeling of well being from each ion Cleanse detox session. Some people with pain, edema, swollen and deteriorating joints have reported symptomatic relief from ionCleanser detox sessions

We are exposed to the greatest toxic load in our planet’s history, and ongoing periodic detoxification is essential to maintain health and avoid disease. The ionCleanse in combination with a healthy, low stress lifestyle, provides a thorough and efficient way to maintain high energy levels and long term wellness

IonCleanse detoxification accelerates change in the body. Aging and disease states are characterized by a diminishing anabolic capacity and an increasing catabolic capacity. Toxic buildup of cellular waste and debris is the inevitable outcome of these trends. Reversing them through whole body detoxification requires nutritional support, particularly digestive enzymes, trace minerals and fatty acids, which are involved in the movement and transport of raw materials in the body

What else can I expect from an Ion Cleanse session?

Many colors and objects appear in the water during Ion Cleanse sessions. There is a reaction between the toxins and particles in the water, the salt added to the water, the metals in the array, and the acidity or alkalinity of the person being bathed. All of these combine to produce color, whether or not feet are in the water. The basic color produced by these reactions varies from one geographic area to another.

What are the frequency and length of the sessions?

As a general rule, the maximum bathing frequency for persons under fifty years of age is once every other day for fourteen sessions with a three-week break before beginning the next sequence. The maximum bathing frequency for persons over fifty is once every third day with a two-week break after fourteen sessions. Persons with chronic conditions may be bathed continuously without a break for an indefinite period. Children with autism can be bathed every other day continuously.

What are the black flecks in the water and where do they come from?

The black flecks are metals that (a) come off the zinc bar in the middle of the array; (b) from the de-ionization of heavy metals in the water itself and (c) from the de-ionization of metals from the client’s body.

How can I tell where the metal is coming from?

Sometimes you cannot tell where the metal is coming from. However, when there are many black flecks in the water (over 20), you can be fairly certain they came out of the body.

What diseases or conditions can I treat with the ionCleanse?

The ionCleanse does not heal or cure disease or any condition. It pulls toxins out of the body. If your problem is caused by a toxic buildup that the ionCleanse dissolves, it may be diminished by the detoxification, but certainly not cured. Frequent detoxification with the ionCleanse gives people a greater sense of well being and helps them to feel better.

Is this unit registered with the FDA?

Registration as a hydrotherapy unit that balances the body’s energy is pending and should be completed within 60 days.

What other scientific proof do you have that the ionCleanse works – e.g. blood tests, other types of lab reports, etc?

None. We make no claims of any kind about what the ionCleanse does. If we did that and offered that as evidence that ionCleanse baths altered blood chemistries, we would be making medical claims. That we will never do. As always, consult your doctor if you have medical concerns or questions.

The ionCleanse unit changes the water color without any feet in the water. Why?

Water, salt and the metal in the unit interact with each other to produce ions. These ions will neutralize everything they come in contact with including toxins that are in tap and filtered water. Depending on geographical location, approximately 20-40% of what you see in the water comes from the junk in the water, and the remaining 60-80% comes from the client’s body.

Are there different protocols for different conditions. Do I work differently with peripheral neuropathy than osteoarthritis?

Yes, but remember we are talking about detoxification and balancing meridians. A client with peripheral neuropathy has greatly impaired nerve and circulatory function. It will take much longer to detox him/her than someone with OA, but detoxing them will make them more comfortable and possibly slow the progression of their disease. Some OA sufferers may experience immediate relief especially if they are willing to make lifestyle and dietary changes.

What is regional toxicity and how does it apply to the color of the water?

The water color in Boise, Idaho without feet is a yellow-green. The water color in Denver without feet is orange. These colors result from the combination of industrial and chemical pollutants common to those areas. Each city has its own peculiar toxicity, and the color of that toxicity pervades the water we drink, cook and bathe in and the air we breathe. Your internal toxic makeup will tend to resemble the toxicity of the local area.

Can I bathe patients that are on allopathic medications?

The ionCleanse has been shown to lower medication levels in the blood, causing the symptoms related to those medications to intensify. You cannot detox anyone who is on life sustaining medication – pacemakers or heartbeat regulating medication, mental health medication other than mild depression. While everyone can be helped by detoxification, patients on allopathic medication should consult with their physician.
